The Mill Barns Wedding

Can’t tell you how excited we were to photograph the wedding of the stunning Rachael & Jamie at The Mill Barns, an Exclusive Use Waterfront Barn Wedding Venue.

The wedding was just before Christmas, it was magical ~ the grand Christmas tree took centre stage in the entrance of Mill Barns.

Beautiful floral creations by the amazing Jo from Floral Secrets fitted perfectly with Rachael & Jamie’s festive wedding plans.

We photograph lots of weddings, and this wedding was definitely ‘all about the family’, a big wonderful gathering of all their loved ones. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Rachael walked down the aisle.

The ceremony was in The Mill Wheel Barn, a timber beamed room overlooking The Mill Pond. The weather was kind enough for us to have photo’s on the terrace & gardens whilst guests enjoyed drinks reception with mince pies & chocolate dipped strawberries ..mmm.

The ‘host a roast’ was hilarious with funny slogan aprons for all the guest carvers ~ if you were lucky enough to be on top table, Rachael’s Dad cut 2inch thick steaks for all.

Sparklers outside looked amazing against the backdrop of the beautiful oak framed entrance.

We ran a Fun Booth while the party celebrations were underway, entertained by a live band & danced till the clocked ticked into Christmas Eve….
