Hagley Hall Christmas Wedding

Hagley Hall is an iconic stately home, we’ve had the pleasure of working there many times.

When we met Stacey & Will at Hagley Hall’s wedding showcase day, we loved all their ideas for their perfect wedding.

Their intimate festive wedding within the backdrop of this 18th century Palladian house, with its rich Rococo decoration surrounded by picturesque parkland is everything they wanted for their December wedding.

The morning was spent getting ready at home, we loved Stacey’s art deco dress & accessories, the bejewelled bouquet, the red silk cape.. I want one!  I had cape envy! A beautiful vintage car by Finishing Touch Cars collected Stacey & her Father as they made their journey to Hagley.

Will was already gathering nerves waiting in the splendid sunshine coloured ‘Saloon Room’  where the wedding ceremony takes place. As you enter Hagley Hall into the White Hall with Italian sculptures & carved stone chimneypiece your eyes are drawn to the beautifully decorated Christmas tree which takes pride of place next to the piano.

Stacey arrives, she walks through the archway into the ceremony room, Will takes a deep breath & the moment they have been waiting for is here.

The vows taken are heard by all & lots of cheers & happiness continue as the procession of happy well wishers are met by the attentive staff serving reception drinks in the White Hall.  The very talented Synergy, a live band that playing Mediterranean music & popular music from around the world evoked memories of Staceys’s time living in Spain.

We braved the December weather outside for some photo’s,  it was a misty day & made for a beautiful backdrop.

Fine Food Matters put on a delicious banquet in The Crimson room, exquisitely decorated with flowers from Simply Flowers by Catherine

An impressive large tapestry surrounded by paintings & mirrors made this the the original dining room of this Grade 1 listed family home a perfect room to eat, drink & be merry into the evening.

A scrumptious looking cake made by Will’s Aunty was ceremoniously cut & devoured by the now increased wedding party as evening guests were arriving & greeting the happy couple.

Whilst Midland Wedding Magicians wowed the crowd with his magic tricks, there was a brief photo opportunity for some photo’s of the bride & groom in the magnificent library before everyone moved downstairs for the evening entertainment to the disco, the room is like a luxurious secluded nightclub with Synergy entertaining some more captivating tunes.

The lounge area, a chilled cosy area where an evening buffet was served & guests took a break from dancing,  a place where friends & family can chat & relax in a snug inviting atmosphere.

The night was finished with an amazing firework display from Solihull Fireworks, that topped off the evening with a bang.
